Country Club Hills, Homewood police blotter

COUNTRY CLUB HILLS

DUI ARREST: Belinda Hill, 43, 14412 Saginaw Ave., Burbank, was charged with drunken driving, no insurance and having expired registration after a Jan. 14 stop at 167th Street and Kilbourne Avenue, police said.

MARIJUANA CHARGE: Tyrell Brown, 31, 3415 Birchwood Lane, Hazel Crest, was charged with possession of marijuana after police found 58 grams of the drug in his underwear during a stop Jan. 17 at 172nd Street and Coventry Lane, police said. They said Brown was also charged with resisting police, driving on a suspended license, driving without headlights and no insurance and was arrested on two Cook County warrants for identity theft.

WEAPONS CHARGE: David Russell, 24, 3927 W. 169th St., Country Club Hills, was charged with unlawful possession of ammunition and possession of marijuana after police discovered 37 bullets concealed in a camera bag in his car Jan. 17 during a stop at 175th Street and Cypress Avenue, police said.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Lamont Jones, 33, 192 Williamsburg Road, Country Club Hills, was charged with domestic battery after a Jan. 19 incident at his home, police said.

THEFT: Four tire rims were stolen Jan. 19 from a car in the 17900 block of Amherst Court.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Elijah Roach, 54, 4101 Park Drive, Country Club Hills, was charged with domestic battery after a disturbance Jan. 20 at his home, police said.

HOMEWOOD

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Marcos Villarreal, 30, of the 100 block of East 23rd Street, Chicago Heights, was charged with driving on a suspended license, reckless driving, endangering a child and failure to yield to emergency vehicle after an incident Jan. 11 at Strieff Lane and Halsted Street, police said.

THEFT: Someone stole wedding and engagement rings Jan. 11 or 12 from a jewelry case at a house in the 3200 block of Mallard Drive.

HOME BURGLARY: A video game, computer and wristwatch were stolen Jan. 11 from a residence in the first block of Elder Road.

ORDER VIOLATED: Lamore Williams, 21, of Homewood, was charged with violating an order of protection after a Jan. 13 incident at a residence in the 100 block of Center Avenue, police said.

CAR DAMAGED: Someone punched in a lock on a car door Jan. 14 or Jan. 15 in the first block of 183rd Street.

BURGLARY: Someone stole a snowblower Jan. 15 from a garage in the first block of Willow Road.

THEFT: An iPhone was stolen Jan. 15 from an employee at Menards, 17545 Halsted St.

RETAIL THEFT: Norman Brown, 46, of Chicago, was charged with retail theft Jan. 17 after stealing items from Target, 17605 Halsted St., police said.

THEFT: Someone stole center caps from a car Jan. 17 in the first block of 183rd Street.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Victor Wade, 18, of the 2300 block of Spruce Road, Homewood, was charged with domestic battery after a Jan. 17 altercation at his home, police said.

WARRANT ARREST: Demetrius Black, 24, of Country Club Hills, was arrested on a warrant and charged with obstructing police after a Jan. 17 incident at Halsted Street and Ridge Road, police said.
