COUNTRY CLUB HILLS
BURGLARY: Someone stole copper piping and a hot water heater Jan. 28 from a vacant house in the 4600 block of West 176th Place.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Two 17-year-old Country Club Hills girls were charged with disorderly conduct following a Jan. 28 fight in the 18700 block of Lee Street.
THEFT: A Chicago woman told police someone stole her iPad from a table Jan. 29 at Rev’s Bar, 18221 Pulaski Road.
HOMEWOOD
RETAIL THEFT: DeShawn Mayo, 18, of Harvey, was charged with retail theft Jan. 25 after stealing items from Super Kmart, 17550 Halsted St., police said.
PURSE PILFERED: A purse was stolen from a shopping cart Jan. 27 at Menards, 17545 Halsted St.
RETAIL THEFT: Joseph Russell, 44, of Harvey, was charged with retail theft after stealing merchandise Jan. 28 from Super Kmart, 17550 Halsted St., police said.
THEFT: A wallet was stolen from one locker and an iPhone 5 was stolen from another locker Jan. 29 at the Homewood-Flossmoor Racquet Club, 2920 183rd St.
ASSAULT, BATTERY: Valerie Cheatham, 43, of the 2800 block of Willow Road, Homewood, was charged with aggravated assault, battery, unlawful use of a weapon and theft of services after a Jan. 30 disturbance in which she tried to flee without paying and hit two employees with a crowbar at a nail salon in the 17700 block of Halsted Street, police said.
WARRANT ARREST: Lela Shaw-Rocquemore, 45, of the 500 block of Virginia Avenue, Glenwood, was arrested on a warrant and charged with giving police a false name after a Jan. 31 stop in the 18000 block of Halsted Street, police said.
