JointPro clinic open in Frankfort

Josh Feigl, a physical therapist and orthopedic specialist, has opened his own clinic, JointPro Physical Therapy, at 9645 Lincoln-Way Lane in Frankfort.

Feigl will hold an open house from 4 to 8 p.m. March 7, with food, refreshments and raffle prizes.

MVCC trustee named chamber president

Andrea Ramirez-Justin of Orland Hills, a member of the Moraine Valley Community College board of trustees, has been elected president of the Mokena Chamber of Commerce.

Ramirez-Justin, a vice president with Old Plank Trail Community Bank in Mokena, was installed as the 2013-14 president at the chamber’s Jan. 25 inaugural event.

Ramirez-Justin was appointed to the community college board in August 2012.

Jeans promotion to benefit shelter

Through March 3, J. Jill in Orland Square Mall will collect gently worn pairs of jeans which will be donated to a local charity, Family Shelter Service. The store is offering customers who bring in used jeans a discount on merchandise purchases.

Marquette Bank to host chambers

Marquette Bank, 7560 W. 159th St., Orland Park, will host a business after hours starting at 5 p.m. Feb. 20 for members of the Orland Park Area Chamber of Commerce and the Tinley Park Chamber of Commerce. Refreshments will be served and there will be networking opportunities during the event.

Expo & Health Fair in Mokena

The Mokena Chamber of Commmerce will host its annual Business Expo & Health Fair from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 23 at The Oaks Fitness & Recreation Center, 10847 LaPorte Road, Mokena. More than 60 businesses will take part, and there will be entertainment.

Heart disease topic of program

A heart health preventive action plan for women will be the focus of the next lunch meeting of the Professional Women’s Network at 11:30 a.m. Feb. 28 at Grady’s Grille, 18147 Harwood Ave., Homewood. The cost is $20 for PWN members and $25 for nonmembers.

Lawyers group hosts food drive

Lawyers Feeding Illinois is a statewide food drive, sponsored by the Illinois State Bar Association and Attorneys’ Title Guaranty Fund Inc. Nonperishable items will be collected through March 1. Locally, food can be dropped off at Attorneys’ Title Guaranty’s office in Oak Lawn, 4042 W. 111th St., between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
