SD 228 spirit helps fill food pantry

Bremen Community High School District 228 recently held its 2nd Annual Spirit Showdown at Hillcrest High School for some friendly competition among the district’s students and faculty.
Top honors went to Hillcrest High School for Tug-O-War and Largest School Attendance; Tinley Park High School for Staff Basketball Tournament and Musical Chairs; Oak Forest High School for Spirit Award, Relay Race, and School Colors; and Bremen High School for Guys Cheer Performance.
About 2,000 students donated an estimated 2,300 canned goods for the Tinley Park Food Pantry.
