An armed robber escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash from a 7-Eleven store at 3:30 a.m. Sunday in Homewood, according to Homewood police.
A male described as being in his late teens or early 20s displayed a handgun to a store clerk and took cash from the store at 3154 W. 183rd St., before fleeing on foot, Deputy Chief Denise McGrath said.
No one was injured, she said.
