BASEBALL

Southland: The Hegewisch 30-and-over Baseball Draft League is looking for individual players for the 2013 season. Experience preferred but not essential. Most games are played on Saturdays. Information: Andy Klein, (773) 646-0706.

BASKETBALL

Country Club Hills: Hillcrest High School and girls basketball coach John Maniatis will host a camp for girls in grades six to 12 from 1:30 to 3:15 p.m. Mondays to Thursdays from June 10 to July 11. Fee: $80. Information: John Maniatis, (708) 799-7000, Ext. 3525 or email jmaniatis@bhsd228.com.

Park Forest: The Village of Park Forest is holding tryouts for its PF Pride travel basketball program, open to boys who are freshmen or sophomores in high school and girls in grades four to eight. CHEERLEADING

Glenwood: The Glenwood Cougars will hold registration for cheerleaders for the 2013 football season, open to kids ages 5 to 14 (not in high school), from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and May 18, June 8 and 15, and July 13 and 27 at Hickory Glen Fieldhouse, 192nd and Minerva Avenue. Fees: $150 or $130 (widgets only) for returning cheerleaders, $331 or $314 (widgets only) for new cheerleaders; payment plans available. University Park: University Park Youth Football and Cheerleading will hold cheerleading tryouts for kids ages 5 to 14 (not in high school) from noon to 3 p.m. May 18, June 1 and June 8 at 38 Town Center Drive. DIVING

Flossmoor: Viking Diving Club’s Spring II session, consisting of 10 classes for beginner, intermediate and high school-aged divers, will be held from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday and Wednesdays from Wednesday to June 3 at Homewood-Flossmoor High School. There will also be a class for intermediate and advanced divers only from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturdays from May 11 to June 8. FOOTBALL

Flossmoor: The Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings Elite football team is looking to fill its roster for a six-week tournament this spring.
