Country Club Hills, Homewood police blotter

COUNTRY CLUB HILLS

BURGLARY: A stainless steel sink, faucet and sprayer were stolen between Feb. 17 and April 25 from a vacant house in the 4700 block of 176th Street.

BURGLARY: Copper piping was stolen sometime in April from a vacant house in the 17700 block of Anthony Avenue.

BURGLARY: Copper piping, a water meter and a hot water heater were stolen from a vacant house in the 4900 block of Fairoaks Drive between April 21 and 26.

HOME BURGLARY: A Country Club Hills man told police someone broke a glass door April 24 at his home in the 3900 block of 168th Street and stole change, alcohol and a wooden statue.

STOLEN SPOILER: A spoiler was stolen April 24 or 25 from a 2008 Chevrolet Equinox at Wal-Mart, 4005 W. 168th Place.

HOMEWOOD

RETAIL THEFT: Leanette Scott, 37, of Sauk Village, and Ingrid Shoat, 45, of the 23400 block of Western Avenue in Park Forest, were charged with retail theft after stealing goods April 20 from Kohl’s, 17620 Halsted St., police said.

DUI ARREST: Nathanial Leavitt, 33, of the 3700 block of 168th Street in Country Club Hills, was charged with drunken driving, running a red light and no insurance April 21 after a stop at 183rd Street and Dixie Highway, police said.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Jordan Hendricks, 24, of the 19100 block of Pierce Court, Homewood, was charged with domestic battery and criminal damage to property after an April 21 incident at his house, police said.

DUI CASE: Bryce Cole, 34, of Ford Heights, was charged with drunken driving, illegal transportation of alcohol and speeding after a stop April 23 at Kedzie Avenue and Stonebridge Drive, police said.

VEHICLE BURGLARY: Eric Caldwell, 22, of the 18500 block of Center Avenue, Homewood, was charged with criminal trespass to a vehicle and theft after an April 23 incident in the 700 block of Ridge Road, police said.

RETAIL THEFT: Heidi Anseimo, 43, of the 1200 block of Vincennes in Chicago Heights, was charged with retail theft after stealing items April 24 from Target, 17605 Halsted St., police said.
