Hillcrest High School students in Brittan Russell and Amber Guzak’s junior year American literature classes recently celebrated completing the final novel in the curriculum by receiving a homemade sticker and treat at the school in Country Club Hills.
“The course is action packed,” Guzak said. “We start with Native-American literature and work all the way through the Great Depression. The students were excited to complete their final novel. We wanted to come up with a fun way to celebrate,” Guzak said.
