COUNTRY CLUB HILLS
PILFERED PHONE: An employee at Fifth Third bank, 4137 W. 167th St., told police someone stole her iPhone while she was working Sept. 9.
THEFT: An outdoor grill was stolen Sept. 9 or 10 from a yard in the 17400 block of Park Lane.
WINDOW SHOT OUT: A Country Club Hills man told police someone shot out his front window with a BB gun Sept. 11 in the 4500 block of 177th Street.
THEFT: A handicapped-parking placard was stolen Sept. 11 from a Jeep in the 4200 block of 167th Street.
DOMESTIC BATTERY: Jivan Kates, 18, 4501 W. 183rd St., Country Club Hills, was charged with domestic battery and endangering a child after a Sept. 12 incident in which he repeatedly hit a woman in the head while she held their 3-month-old daughter outside a gas station in the 18200 block of Pulaski Road, police said.
CAR BURGLARY: An iPod and wallet were stolen Sept. 12 from a car while the owner was walking on a trail Sept. 12 in the 4400 block of 175th Street.
DOMESTIC BATTERY: Eraster Smith, 33, 6541 S. Washtenaw Ave., Chicago, was charged with domestic battery after a Sept. 12 disturbance in the 18000 block of Anthony Avenue, police said.
GUNSHOTS: Several residents told police they heard six to 10 gunshots fired Sept. 13 in the 16900 block of Old Elm Drive and saw a red sedan speed away from the scene. Police said they found several bullet holes in a fence in the 3900 block of 169th Street.
THEFT: A catalytic converter and a muffler were stolen Sept. 6 or 7 from a vehicle in the 800 block of Elder Road.
VANDALISM: Two tires were punctured Sept. 6 or 7 on a vehicle in the 18600 block of Marshfield Avenue.
DUI ARREST: Jaleel Milsap, 35, of the 500 block of Illinois Avenue in Glenwood, was charged with drunken driving, illegal transportation of alcohol, speeding and improper lane use Sept. 9 after a stop at 183rd Street and Ashland Avenue, police said.
CREDIT FRAUD: Anthony Mitchell, 41, of the 7500 block of 175th Street in Tinley Park, was charged with possession of counterfeit credit cards after a Sept. 9 incident at Walgreens, 18300 Governors Highway, police said.
RETAIL THEFT: Rasheeda Triplett, 37, of Calumet City, was charged with retail theft Sept. 10 after an incident at Super Kmart, 17550 Halsted St., police said.
DOMESTIC BATTERY: Asaia Rampage, 47, of the 1500 block of 183rd Street in Homewood, was charged with domestic battery Sept. 10 after a disturbance at her residence, police said.
RETAIL THEFT: Terrance Freeman, 18, of the 4300 block of Mayfair Court in Country Club Hills, was charged with retail theft after stealing items Sept. 11 from Jewel-Osco, 3153 183rd St., police said.
RETAIL THEFT: Alissa Waters, 20, of Hazel Crest, was charged with retail theft after taking goods Sept. 11 from Kohl’s, 17620 Halsted St., police said.
RETAIL THEFT: Laroy Jefferson, 23, of Riverdale, was charged with retail theft after stealing merchandise Sept. 11 from Super Kmart, 17550 Halsted St., police said.
RETAIL THEFT: Amanda Quinto, 42, and Francisca Acosta, 30, both of Harvey, were charged with retail theft Sept. 11 after stealing items from Kohl’s, 17620 Halsted St., police said.
DRUG CHARGES: Frank Hatton, 35, of Lynwood, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, transportation of alcohol and not wearing a seat belt after a stop Sept. 12 at 174th Street and Wooded Path, police said.
RETAIL THEFT: Tiffany McEwen, 24, of Chicago Heights, was charged with retail theft after she stole merchandise Sept. 12 from Super Kmart, 17550 Halsted St., police said.
DUI CHARGE: Thomas Gardner, 25, of the 200 block of Sherry Lane in Chicago Heights, was charged with drunken driving, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and no rear plate light after a Sept. 13 stop in the 19100 block of Center Avenue, police said.
