Southland: The Bridgeview Park District invites all girls basketball teams to join its league, which runs from December to March. Team divisions are fourth, fifth and sixth grades, and seventh and eighth grades. Games will be played at the park district’s Sports Complex Gymnasium, 8100 S. Flossmoor: Viking Diving Club’s Fall Two session features 10 one-hour classes for beginner, intermediate and advanced divers. Southland: Unique Bassmasters, Rayjus Outdoors and the Oak Lawn High School Spartan fishing team and its sponsors host the Rayjus Outdoors-Oak Lawn Community High School Bass Tournament on the Kankakee and Des Plaines rivers on Oct. 12.
