The Homewood-Flossmoor Area League of Women Voters recently hosted a wine and cheese party for new and prospective members at co-president Sylvia Tillman’s home. Co-president Erin Roeper welcomed the guests and introduced the ten other officers and board members. Peg Boivin, a member of the League for 49 years, gave a brief history of the H-F Area League, which will be marking its 85th anniversary as a League in 2014. The H-F Area League’s rolls include members from Flossmoor, Homewood, Chicago Heights, Crete, Frankfort, Hazel Crest, Harvey, Lansing, Matteson, Olympia Fields, Richton Park and South Holland.
