Hillcrest High School in Country Club Hills is taking steps to educate students about their local options for post-high school education, according to a press release from the school.

Counselors Lindsay Lopez and Eric Johnson recently took 30 underclassmen to South Suburban College in South Holland to tour the campus and meet SSC President Don Manning.

Students had the opportunity to learn about four different programs of study: art, criminal justice, pharmacy, and television/radio, the release said.

They also were served lunch and were able to network with students from other area schools.

For more information about post-high school educational options at Hillcrest High School, email Lopez at LLopez@bhsd228.com.
