COUNTRY CLUB HILLS
DOMESTIC BATTERY: Michael Brown, 27, 21918 Clyde, Sauk Village, was charged with domestic battery after a Dec. 11 incident at a home in the 16700 block of Butterfield Drive, police said.
SCROOGE STRIKES: An inflatable Santa was stolen Dec. 11 or 12 from a yard in the 17900 block of Fairoaks Drive..
CAR BURGLARY: An iPod, a bottle of wine, candles and jewelry were stolen Dec. 13 or 14 from a car in the 17900 block of Edwards Avenue.
CAR THEFT: A 2012 Toyota Camry was stolen Dec. 16 from a home’s garage in the 18800 block of Oakwood.
VANDALISM: Someone threw a landscaping brick through a car window Dec. 16 in the 4400 block of Gatling Boulevard.
BURGLARY: Four pellet rifles, a pellet handgun and $35 in coins were stolen Dec. 19 from a home’s garage in the 4700 block of 187th Street.
ASSAULT: Chrisma Jackson, 26, 4190 W. 196th St., Country Club Hills, was charged with assault after threatening another woman in their home on Dec. 20, police said.
HOME BURGLARY: A house in the 17700 block of Country Club Drive was broken into and ransacked Dec. 22 or 23. It was not immediately clear if anything was stolen.
DUI ARREST: Astar Herndon, 29, 3122 Heatherhill Court, Flossmoor, was charged with drunken driving, no insurance, improper lane use and resisting police after a Dec. 24 stop at Flossmoor and Pulaski roads, police said.
VAN THEFT: A 2004 Chrysler Pacifica was stolen Dec. 25 or 26 in the 1100 block of Wiliamsburg Road.
RETAIL THEFT: Dawn Husa, 44, 5011 W. 158th St., and Zolette Mishka, 69, 15716 Reynolds Lane, both of Oak Forest, were charged with retail theft after stealing $184 worth of merchandise Dec. 27 from Wal-Mart, 405 W. 168th Place, police said.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Deon Scott, 20, 4248 W. 186th St., Country Club Hills, was charged with driving on a suspended license, running a stop sign, aggravated fleeing from police and no insurance after refusing to stop Dec. 28 when police tried to stop his car at Williamsburg and Pulaski roads, police said. They said Scott drove to a subdivision in Hazel Crest where he was arrested.
PILFERED PHONE: A cellphone was stolen Dec. 6 from an ice rink in the 18100 block of Martin Avenue.
CAR BURGLARY: A purse was stolen Dec. 8 from an unlocked car in the 18600 block of Kedzie Avenue.
IDENTITY FRAUD: Matthew Wittkamp, 39, of Munster, Ind., and Shanika Wilson, 21, of Sauk Village, were both charged with possession of a fraudulent driver’s license after a Dec. 9 incident at T Mobile, 17923 Halsted St., police said.
DOMESTIC BATTERY: Wilhelmina Anderson, 18, of Homewood, was charged with domestic battery and resisting police Dec. 10 after an incident at her home, police said.
DOMESTIC BATTERY: Earl Travis, 43, of the 18600 block of Lyn Court in Homewood, was charged with domestic battery Dec. 10 after a disturbance at his residence, police said.
DOMESTIC BATTERY: Reginald Penn, Jr., 29, of South Holland, was charged with domestic battery Dec. 14 after an altercation at a residence in the 1500 block of Linden Road, police said.
DOMESTIC BATTERY: Dancello Cruz, 45, of the 2000 block of Ridge Road in Homewood, was charged with domestic battery Dec. 15 after a dispute at his home, police said.
ASSAULT: Denise Thompson, 23, of Chicago, was charged with assault, retail theft and obstructing identification after a Dec. 16 incident at Kohl’s, 17620 Halsted St., police said.
STOLEN CAR: Darius Powell, 17, of Harvey, was charged with possession of a stolen motor vehicle and retail theft Dec. 17 after an incident at AT&T, 17858 Halsted St., police said.
