The Homewood-Flossmoor High School Foundation will host a Motown fundraiser March 15 at Freedom Hall, 410 Lakewood Blvd., Park Forest.
A private reception preceding the sold-out “Masters of Motown” concert is to begin at 5:30 p.m., and the concert begins at 7:30 p.m.
A limited number of tickets have been reserved so community members and alumni can enjoy a gathering before the performance and during the show’s intermission. Tickets for the show and reception are $40 and are limited to a first-come basis.
“Masters of Motown” features stylish costumes, and fully choreographed tributes to both male and female groups, backed by a live band.
Homewood-Flossmoor High School Foundation’s main priority is providing funds for grants that allow teachers to bring new ideas to the classroom, as well as to bestow scholarships for students to further their education, according to the foundation. It sponsors many grant programs for H-F students, including the Viking Choir, DECA Club, Special Olympics, Rachel’s Challenge, Forensic Science, Career Fair and many others.
