Community Sports Calendar (East) for Feb. 9, 2014

BASEBALL

South Holland: South Suburban College and baseball coach Steve Ruzich will present adult-child baseball camps for ages 6 to 14 with an adult from Friday to Feb. 23. Camps will be for pitching, hitting, advanced hitting, catching and fielding. Fees: $45 for one child and one adult for one camp, $40 per camp if enrolled in more than one, $30 for each additional child. Southland: Blue Island Little League’s registration for ages 4 to 12 runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 22 at Memorial Park fieldhouse, 12804 Highland Ave., Blue Island. The league is open to residents of Blue Island, Calumet Park, Posen, Dixmoor and Robbins. Information: (708) 489-9572.
