BURGLARY: Someone broke into a vacant house in the 18000 block of Greenview Terrace and stole copper pipe, a refrigerator, a hot water heater, a furnace and a utility tub between Dec. 7 and Jan. 15.
PURLOINED PURSE: A purse was stolen Dec. 29 from Applebee’s, 4029 W. 167th St.
BURGLARY: Copper pipe was stolen sometime before Dec. 31 from a vacant house in the 18600 block of Maple Avenue.
BATTERY: Barbara Hall, 52, 9121 S. Princeton Ave., Chicago, and Angel Hall, 31, 15742 Central Park Ave., Markham, were charged with battery and retail theft after stealing children’s clothing Jan. 1 from Wal-Mart, 4005 W. 168th Place, and then acting aggressively toward a witness who tried to stop them, police said.
BATTERY: Autumn Simmons, 18, 4411 W. Gatling Blvd., #414, Country Club Hills, was charged with battery after a Jan. 2 altercation with a neighbor who confronted her about a loud argument that Simmons was having on her cellphone in the apartment building hallway, police said.
BATTERY: Prudence Irving, 25, 18405 Dartry Drive, Country Club Hills, was charged with battery after spitting in a man’s face and attempting to cut his tires with a knife Jan. 3 while the man was sitting in a car outside her home, police said.
PURLOINED PURSE: A purse was stolen Jan. 13 from a car at the Mobil gas station, 4015 W. 183rd St.
CAR BURGLARY: A wallet was stolen from a car in the 18600 block of Keeler Avenue on Jan. 15.
CAR BURGLARY: A purse was stolen Jan. 15 from car in the 18000 block of Lavergne Avenue.
THEFT: Copper pipe was stolen between Jan. 17 and 22 from a vacant house in the 17200 block of Park Lane.
CAR BURGLARY: A backpack containing multiple forms of identification was stolen between Jan. 17 and 19 from a car in the 17800 block of Michael Avenue.
DOMESTIC BATTERY: Marshall Lenoir, 42, 13240 S. Greenwood Ave., Chicago, was charged with domestic battery after a Jan. 19 incident in the 4600 block of 175th Place, police said.
HOME BURGLARY: A jewelry box was stolen Jan. 22 during a burglary of a home in the 18500 block of Bellamy Road.
BURGLARIES: A house in the 4800 block of Castle Dargan Drive was ransacked Jan. 23, but it was not immediately clear if anything was taken. Copper tubing was stolen from a home in the 4800 block of Sligo Way the same day.
ROBBERY: A 20-year-old Oak Forest man told police he was robbed of his iPhone on Jan. 27 by a possible buyer of the phone in the 4500 block of Provincetown Drive. The victim told police he had posted an ad on Craigslist about selling his phone.
DOMESTIC BATTERY: Allen Phillips, 37, 18723 Oakwood Ave, Country Club Hills, was charged with domestic battery after a Jan. 29 disturbance at his home, police said.
HOME BURGLARY: Twenty watches, a laptop computer and seven pairs of Nike shoes were stolen Jan. 30 from a house in the 18700 block of Cedar Avenue.
