The Cancer Support Center is celebrating 20 years of service, and will host a March 20 event that will feature the redesign of the center’s brand, a showcase of the new, interactive website, and the introduction of a programming initiative.

The center’s annual meeting begins at 7 p.m. at the Homewood location, 2028 Elm Road. The event will reflect the organization’s milestones while sharing goals for the coming years.

The Cancer Support Center, which also has a Mokena location, gives strength, guidance and support to anyone living with a cancer diagnosis, as well as to their loved ones, according to the organization. It is a community-based, volunteer-driven, donor-supported organization.

The center’s programs, resources and services are always delivered by professional therapists, counselors, nutritionists and experts, according to the organization. These services are provided in a warm, welcoming and nurturing setting at no cost to participants, it said.

For more information on programs and services, call (708) 798-9171 or visit www.cancersupportcenter.org.
