Homewood-Flossmoor High School will offer professional learning opportunities for teachers.

The Summer 2014 Homewood-Flossmoor University courses are open to educators throughout the Chicago area.

Professional development classes are taught by Homewood-Flossmoor certified teachers and administrators on a variety of topics, including best instructional practices, classroom-technology integration and student supports.

The cost is $50 for a full-day class and $100 for a two-day class.

“Our teachers are very comfortable presenting and get so much out of learning from the experiences of their colleagues,” H-F curriculum director Nancy Spaniak said in a news release. “We are delighted to open this affordable professional development opportunity to teachers from other districts.”

Registration is being accepted through May 23. Visit www.hfhighschool.org/community for the Summer 2014 HFU course catalog.
