Flossmoor, Homewood police blotter

FLOSSMOOR

VEHICLE BURGLARY: A resident of the 2100 block of Hagen Lane told police someone broke into her vehicle while it was parked in her driveway Feb. 22 or 23 and stole a pair of sunglasses.

STOLEN COPPER: Someone stole two copper pipe lines from a home in the 1400 block of William Street Feb. 26 and damaged several ceiling tiles.

THEFT: A wallet was stolen March 2 from a vehicle while it was in the driveway of a house in the 2700 block of Brassie Avenue.

 

HOMEWOOD

THEFT: Someone stole a snow blower between Feb. 15 and 23 from a home in the 1800 block of 187th Street.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Bruce Ford, 53, of the 1200 block of Elder Road, was charged with domestic battery after a Feb. 23 incident at his residence, police said.

ATTEMPTED BREAK-IN: A resident in the 18400 block of Kedzie Avenue told police that someone broke a rear bedroom window of her apartment Feb. 23 and then fled the scene.

RETAIL THEFT: Renard Anderson, 53, of 14036 Atlantic Ave., Riverdale, was charged Feb. 25 with retail theft after stealing a suitcase, clothes and shoes from Kohl’s, 17620 Halsted St., police said.

DRUG ARREST: Dillon Forestell, 18, 17958 Homewood Ave., Homewood, was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and alcohol by a minor after a stop Feb. 25 at Martin Avenue and Chestnut Road, police said.
