Rich South band performs at Chick-fil-A Bowl

The Rich South High School Band recently performed at the 2011 Chick-fil-A Bowl in Atlanta, Ga.
Out of 17 bands across the country in a very close competition, the Rich South Marching Band placed third in the Field Show Competition and third in the Parade Competition.
The Drumline took first place in the Drumline Competition, while the Rich South Band Auxiliary took Best Overall Auxiliary.
“These outstanding students continue to hone their craft as they strive to raise the money needed to perform in the 2012 Olympic games held in London, England this summer,” said school officials in a news release.
