MATTESON
RETAIL THEFT: Matthew W. Hunter, 19, of Chicago, was charged with retail theft after stealing about $180 worth of printer ink Jan. 17 from Target, 4647 Promenade Way, police said.
HOME BURGLARY: A television and an Xbox game system were stolen Jan. 18 from an apartment in the 4300 block of Lindenwood Drive.
VEHICLE BURGLARY: A wallet was stolen Jan. 24 from an unlocked vehicle at the Matteson Community Center, 20642 Matteson Ave.
BROKEN WINDOW: A window was broken Jan. 24 at a house in the 6300 block of Virginia Lane.
HOME BURGLARY: Three computers, an Xbox game system, jewelry and other items were stolen Jan. 26 from a house in the 21800 block of Main Street.
WARRANT ARREST: Arshieal L. Johns, 42, 1207 Blackhawk Drive, University Park, was arrested on a Will County warrant and was charged with resisting arrest Jan. 28 at Presidential Inn, 21609 Governors Highway, police said.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Darrian Hugger, 31, 5662 Allemong Drive, Matteson, was charged with driving on a suspended license and without registration or insurance after a Jan. 28 stop at Central Avenue and Yale Lane, police said.
HIT-AND-RUN: Miguel A. Villanueva, 27, 1702 Euclid Ave., Chicago Heights, was charged with leaving the scene of an accident, failure to yield and no insurance after a Jan. 28 accident in the 4600 block of Promenade Way, police said.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Shannon T. Redmond, 42, 21213 Bridle Path, Matteson, was charged with driving on a suspended license after an accident Jan. 28 at U.S. 30 and Central Avenue, police said.
LICENSE SUSPENDED: Katherine L. Rose, 30, of Schererville, Ind., was charged with driving on a suspended license and improper display of registration after being stopped Jan. 28 at Kostner Avenue and Lindenwood Drive, police said.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Jamie L. Poindexter, 30, 4701 203rd St., Matteson, was charged with driving on a suspended license and running a stop sign after a Jan. 29 stop at 207th Street and Rose Lane, police said.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Lee A. Williams, 46, 36 Huntingwood Road, Matteson, was charged with driving on a suspended license, no insurance and driving an unsafe vehicle after a stop Jan. 29 at Ridgeland Avenue and Sunflower Drive, police said.
TRESPASSING: Stanley T. Williams, 27, 4104 Lindenwood Drive, Matteson, was charged with trespassing and possession of stolen property after he was found sleeping at a table Jan. 30 at Taco Bell, 4167 W. 211th St., police said.
VAN BURGLARY: A spare tire was stolen Jan. 30 from inside a van in the 4400 block of West U.S. 30.
PARK FOREST
HOME BURGLARY: A television, DVDs and stereo system were stolen Jan. 26 from an apartment in the first block of Ash Street.
HOME BURGLARY: A television and two video game discs were stolen Jan. 26 from a house in the 300 block of Douglas Street.
ROBBERY: A man driving a silver vehicle pulled up to two teens walking in the 200 block of Shabbona Drive on Jan. 27 and asked them if they wanted to buy marijuana. The driver then said he had a gun and demanded and stole an iPod from one of the teens before driving away.
BROKEN DOOR: A door was kicked open Jan. 27 at a house in the 300 block of Sauk Trail.
HOME BURGLARY: A laptop computer, wallet and watch were stolen Jan. 27 from a house in the 100 block of Indiana Street.
HOME BURGLARY: A Wii game system and pellet gun were stolen Jan. 30 from a house in the 300 block of Osage Street.
BREAK-IN: A window was broken and entry was made Jan. 30 into a house in the 200 block of Farragut Street.
MUGGED: A Park Forest man walking near Western Avenue and Indianwood Boulevard about 1:20 a.m. Jan. 30 was accosted by two men who asked him for marijuana and then hit him in the head with a liquor bottle and went through his pockets.
HOME BURGLARY: A laptop computer, Xbox game system and jewelry were stolen Jan. 30 from an apartment in the 100 block of Hemlock Street.
PROPERTY DAMAGE: Sergio M. Richardson, 29, 4316 Applewood, Matteson, and Jasmine Baynard, 28, of Chicago, were charged with criminal damage to property and trespassing after they broke into a building Jan. 31 in the first block of North Street and were found taking photographs inside, police said.
VEHICLE BURGLARY: Textbooks and cash were stolen Jan. 31 from an unlocked vehicle in the first block of Rich Court.
HOME BURGLARY: Copper pipes were discovered stolen Jan. 31 from a house in the 400 block of Orchard Drive.
THEFT: A washing machine was stolen Jan. 31 from outside a house in the 400 block of Suwanee Street.
