John Ruffin, of Rich South, is this week’s Beggars Pizza/SouthtownStar Player of the Week.
The 6-foot-5 senior scored 18 points, including two game-clinching free throws, and pulled down 20 rebounds to lead the Stars to a 52-51 win over Crete-Monee. He also scored 12 points and registered 12 rebounds during a 59-52 loss to Bloom.
