MATTESON

RECOVERED VEHICLE: A 2008 Toyota Camry reported stolen from Olympia Fields was found May 16 in a lot in the 4300 block of West U.S. 30.

BOGUS BILL: A man passed a counterfeit $50 bill May 17 at Subs Deluxe, 224 Lincoln Mall Drive.

RETAIL THEFT: Lavender T. Campbell, 18, 14910 Everest Drive, Dolton, and Chalynda Simpson, 22, 599 Brookline St., Chicago Heights, were charged with retail theft after they stole about $107 in items May 17 from Wal-Mart, 21410 Cicero Ave., police said.

DRUG CHARGES: Giovanni Adams, 21, 21118 Vivienne Drive, Matteson, was charged with illegal sale of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of ammunition without a firearm owner’s ID card on May 18 at his home, police said.

DUI CASE: James D. Lloyd Jr., 53, 13448 Monticello, Robbins, was charged with drunken driving after a May 21 stop at U.S. 30 and Main Street, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Ephrium Bell Jr., 53, 21500 Jeffery Ave., Sauk Village, was charged with driving on a suspended license and no insurance after a May 21 stop at Ridgeland Avenue and Apple Ridge Lane, police said.

CREDIT FRAUD: Wanell Ash, 30, 3650 Western Ave., Park Forest, was charged May 22 with unlawful use of a credit card after he tried to make a fraudulent purchase at Wal-Mart, 21410 Cicero Ave., police said.

POT POSSESSION: Brandon C. Smith, 19, 290 Maryview Parkway, Matteson, was charged with possession of marijuana, driving on a suspended license, no insurance and speeding after a stop May 22 in the first block of Central Avenue, police said.

RETAIL THEFT: Katrina R. Vanderbilt, 19, 4412 W. Imperial Drive, Richton Park, was charged with retail theft after she and two juvenile girls stole about $300 in items May 22 from Wal-Mart, 21410 Cicero Ave., police said.

HOME BURGLARY: A washing machine and dryer were discovered missing May 22 from a house in the 100 block of Oriole Road.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Armetha R. Williams, 41, of Chicago, was charged with driving on a suspended license, no insurance and having expired registration after being stopped May 23 at U.S. 30 and Kostner Avenue, police said.

THEFT: Marquis E. Bowens, 19, 15315 Meadow Lane, Dolton, was charged with theft by deception after he purchased items with counterfeit money May 23 at Champs Sports at Lincoln Mall, police said.

HOME BURGLARY: A refrigerator, stove, furnace and hot water heater were discovered missing May 23 from a house in the 4100 block of 216th Street.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Dane P. Humphries, 29, 901 School Ave., Matteson, was charged with driving on a suspended license, no insurance and no front license plate after a stop May 24 at Rose Lane and Lindenwood Drive, police said.

BROKEN WINDOW: A window was broken May 24 at a house in the 3900 block of 213th Street.

RETAIL THEFT: Kevin Lacey, 46, 15141 Honore, Harvey, and Brittany L. Haley, 20, 1034 Brookhurst Court, University Park, were charged with retail theft after they stole about $138 worth of goods May 24 from Sears at Lincoln Mall, police said.

WARRANT ARREST: Anthony Daoud, 23, 19514 Victorian Drive, Mokena, was arrested on a Will County warrant May 26 at Central Avenue and Vollmer Road, police said.

WARRANT ARREST: Johnnie Lewis, 32, 20232 Keystone Ave., Matteson, was arrested on a Richton Park warrant May 26 at Presidential Inn Motel, 21609 Governors Highway, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Patrick L. Cotton, 27, 12550 N. Page, Calumet City, was charged with driving on a suspended license after a May 27 stop in the 4200 block of West U.S. 30, police said.

HOME BURGLARY: Jewelry and other items were stolen May 27 from a house in the 100 block of Treehouse Road.

VEHICLE BURGLARY: A radio and two taillights were stolen May 28 from a vehicle at South Oak Dodge, 4550 W. 211th St.

NO LICENSE: Otis L. Moore, 42, 4222 Lindenwood Drive, Apt, 2SE, Matteson, was charged with driving on a revoked license, no insurance and speeding after he was stopped May 28 on his block, police said.

PARK FOREST

HOME BURGLARY: An air compressor was stolen May 24 from a house in the 200 block of Allegheny Street.

RUSE BURGLARY: A man distracted a resident of the 400 block of Indiana Street on May 24 with talk of landscaping work at the rear of her property while another man entered the house and stole jewelry.

DRUG CHARGES: Lonnie E. Williams, 38, 363 Minocqua St., Park Forest, was charged with selling cocaine, possession of marijuana and owning vicious dogs as a felon after police executed a search warrant May 25 at his home, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Ivan G. Williams, 30, 917 Notre Dame, Matteson, was charged with driving on a suspended license, no insurance and no front license plate and was arrested on a Matteson warrant May 25 in the 100 block of Indiana Street, police said.

THEFT: Carl W. Howard Jr., 17, 506 Davis St., Park Forest, was charged with theft May 26 after stealing chrome rims from the basement of his home, police said.

THEFT: A concrete head sculpture was stolen May 26 from a front yard in the 300 block of Oakwood Street.

GRAFFITI: Graffiti was spray painted May 26 on a building in the 200 block of Blackhawk Drive.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Shakeim McMillian, 26, 155 Algonquin St., Park Forest, was charged with domestic battery after a May 28 altercation at his home, police said.

THEFT: Catalytic converters were stolen May 29 from 15 trucks at U-Haul Rental, 2210 Western Ave.

HOME BURGLARY: Three cameras were stolen May 29 from a house in the 300 block of Meota Street.

HOME BURGLARY: Two men broke down a door and stole three televisions May 31 from a house in the 200 block of Arrowhead Street. A neighbor scared off the men, and the televisions were recovered in a nearby yard.
