Rich East grad Eaton named Stellar Student

Rich East High School graduate Deanna Eaton recently was named a Stellar Student. She graduated with a 3.849 GPA and ranked 10th in a class of 203. She also earned a 26 on the ACT.
Eaton has earned two Green and Gold Apple Awards. She also is an Illinois State Scholar, a member of the National Honor Society and the French National Honor Society. She also was the senior class treasurer, a member of Best Buddies and the Rich East Marching Band Majorettes.
Eaton plans to major in biology at Howard University in Washington, D.C. Eaton said she enjoyed the people at Rich East.
“I can truly say I gained great friends at East,” Eaton said.
