Greek Fest planned

St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church will host its Greek Festival from 4 p.m. to midnight Saturday and from noon to 11 p.m. Sunday at the church, 12307 S. Ridgeland Ave., Palos Heights. Admission is $2 for adults and free for children age 12 and younger. Information: (708) 385-2311.

RICHTON PARK

Library to host book discussion

Richton Park Public Library, 4045 Sauk Trail, will host a discussion for adults on the book “The Family Business” by Carl Weber as part of its African American Book Discussion group from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday. Registration is required. Information: www.richtonparklibrary.org or (708) 481-5333.

Society to host rose lecture

The Sauk Trail Rose Society will host a lecture by a rose expert at 1 p.m. Saturday at the home of Sauk Trail Rose Society president Frank DeVries, 15508 Lamon Ave., Oak Forest. The event is free. Information: dibriggs.rose@gmail.com.
