Matteson, Park Forest police blotter

MATTESON

NO LICENSE: Jesus Martinez-Vega, 43, 215 23rd St., Chicago Heights, was charged with driving without a valid license and driving too fast for conditions after a July 16 accident at U.S. 30 and Cicero Avenue, police said.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT: Sandie L. Bennett, 36, of Chicago, was charged with aggravated assault, domestic battery, criminal damage to property, resisting arrest and obstructing police after a July 17 altercation at Hampton Inn, 20920 Matteson Ave., police said.

HOME BURGLARY: Four televisions, three computers, two guitars, jewelry and other items were discovered stolen July 19 from a house in the 900 block of Princeton Avenue.

VEHICLE THEFT: A 2012 Ford Flex was stolen July 20 from Sutton Ford, 21315 Central Ave.

PROPERTY DAMAGE: Julie L. Gabe, 35, 4423 Candan, Richton Park, was charged with criminal damage to property after she dented a vehicle July 20 at Wal-Mart, 21410 Cicero Ave., police said.

VEHICLE BURGLARY: A tent was stolen July 20 or 21 from the trunk of a vehicle in the 600 block of Academy Avenue.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Alan W. Carter, 28, 5235 Stoneridge Court, Matteson, was charged with driving on a suspended license and running a stoplight after a stop July 21 at Cicero Avenue and U.S. 30, police said.

DAMAGED PROPERTY: A trampoline and swimming pool were damaged July 22 in a back yard in the 213 00 block of Kildare Avenue.

DUI ARREST: Aaron Hunter, 59, of Broadview, was charged with drunken driving after he was stopped July 22 at 212th Place and Governors Highway, police said.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Eric V. Jennings, 34, 4101 Lindenwood Drive, Apt. 1W, Matteson, was charged with domestic battery and criminal damage to property after a July 22 incident at his home, police said.

GARAGE BURGLARY: Two bicycles were stolen July 23 from a garage in the 3700 block of Sandy Shore.

GARAGE BURGLARY: A 2011 dirt bike was stolen July 23 from a garage in the 21800 block of Main Street.

HOME BURGLARY: A television, computer, watches and other items were stolen July 23 from a house in the 21100 block of Maple Street.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Alysia R. Brown, 22, 113 Sycamore, Glenwood, was charged with domestic battery after a July 24 disturbance in the 21600 block of Richmond Road, police said.

GARAGE BURGLARY: About 17 fishing poles were stolen July 25 or 26 from a garage in the first block of Petunia Circle.

RETAIL THEFT: Beatrice L. Dykes, 47, 1436 Lowe, Chicago Heights, was charged with retail theft after stealing about $127 worth of baby formula July 26 from Target, 4647 Promenade Way, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Jeremy W. Woodridge, 40, of Chicago, was charged with driving on a suspended license and on an unsafe tire after a wheel fell off his vehicle and damaged two other vehicles July 26 at Kostner Avenue and U.S. 30, police said.

WARRANT ARREST: Domaique Taylor, 23, 46 N. Elm Lane, Glenwood, was arrested on a Chicago Ridge warrant July 27 at U.S. 30 and Governors Highway, police said.

PARK FOREST

WEAPON CHARGE: Jerry Glover, 23, 4950 Bayview Court, Richton Park, was charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, possession of a controlled substance, criminal trespass to a vehicle, driving on a suspended license and not wearing a seat belt after a stop July 20 in the 3500 block of Western Avenue, police said.

SHED BURGLARY: Two small motorcycles and a bicycle were stolen July 20 or 21 from a shed in a back yard in the 200 block of Miami Street.

BROKEN WINDOW: A rock was thrown through a window July 21 at a house in the 300 block of Oakwood Street.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Laura L. Rose, 40, 409 Gettysburg St., Park Forest, was charged with domestic battery after a July 21 incident at her home, police said.

HOME BURGLARY: A television was stolen July 21 or 22 from a house in the 300 block of Neola Street.

PROPERTY DAMAGE: James Romaine, 21, 449 Tomahawk St., Park Forest, was charged with criminal damage to property after he damaged a bathroom July 22 at a neighbor’s house, police said.

DUI ARREST: Hosea E. Ellis, 34, 1255 Division St., Chicago Heights, was charged with drunken driving, no insurance and parking on the roadway after he was found passed out behind the wheel of his vehicle July 22 at South Street and Western Avenue, police said.

BREAK-IN: A door was forced open July 22 at a house in the 100 block of Algonquin Street.

PROPERTY DAMAGE: Darryl C. Williams, 18, 14 Apache St., Park Forest, was charged with criminal damage to property after he kicked in a door of a vacant house July 23 in the 200 block of Allegheny Street, police said.

HOME BURGLARY: A computer was stolen July 23 from a house in the 300 block of Herndon Street.

DAMAGED HOMES: Doors were kicked in and windows were broken at three houses in the 200 block of Arrowhead Street on July 23.

BURGLARY: An empty cash box was stolen and a cash register and vending machine were damaged July 24 at the Holiday Star Theater, 340 Main St.

POT POSSESSION: Jason Hardimon, 24, 14533 Calhoun St., Burnham, was charged with possession of marijuana and running a stoplight after a stop July 24 at Sauk Trail and Indianwood Boulevard, police said.

HOME BURGLARY: A television, four watches, a coin jar and other items were stolen July 24 from a house in the 200 block of Shabbona Drive, police said.

PROPERTY DAMAGE: Conez Harell, 20, 4236 Clark Drive, Richton Park, was charged with criminal damage to property after a July 24 incident in the 100 block of Hay Street, police said.

HOME BURGLARY: A wallet and two computers were stolen July 25 from an apartment in the 300 block of Dogwood Street.

POT POSSESSION: Montae Edwards, 18, 216 Towanda St., Park Forest, was charged with possession of marijuana, running a stoplight and driving without a valid license after a July 25 stop at Monee Road and Western Avenue, police said.
