CRETE
Library hosts abstract art program
Abstract art was the theme of a recent Art Studio program in Crete Public Library’s children’s department.
Librarian April Heide-Kracik presented a slide show on abstract artists and then demonstrated the technique.
“Painting the animal using just the simplicity of the eyes and nose, plus adding colorful strokes for the body, made an impressive work of art to take home,” a library spokeswoman said.
