CAR BURGLARY: Two cellphone chargers were stolen Nov. 8 from a car in a North Street parking lot.
CAR THEFT: A Chicago man told police someone had stolen a 2003 BMW that he had purchased from Manheim Chicago Auto Auction, 20401 Cox Ave., when he went to pick up the car on Nov. 10.
HOME BURGLARY: Two televisions, two DVD players and two video games were taken Nov. 14 in a burglary of a house in the first block of White Oak Road.
PURLOINED PURSE: A Peotone woman told police someone stole her purse from the back of her chair while she was dining Nov. 15 at Cracker Barrel, 1020 Corporate Lakes Drive.
MARIJUANA CHARGE: James Ward, 43, 1359 Poplar Court, Homewood, was charged with possession of marijuana after a Nov. 16 stop in the 3100 block of Holden Circle, police said.
HOME BURGLARY: A wallet and jewelry were stolen Nov. 16 from a house in the 900 block of Dartmouth Avenue.
RETAIL THEFT: Troy Jones, 33, 747 Academy, Matteson, was charged with stealing $125 worth of 5-Hour Energy drink Nov. 18 from Dominick’s, 4233 W. U.S. 30, police said.
BURGLARY: Someone broke into a padlocked shed on the grounds of New Community Church, 245 Monee Road, and stole a leaf blower and weed whacker in early November.
CAR BURGLARY: A laptop computer, headphones, $20 and a driver’s license were stolen Nov. 7 from a car in the 400 block of Talala Street.
CAR VANDALIZED: A Park Forest woman told police she saw a former acquaintance smashing her car windows outside her home Nov. 7 in the 100 block of East Sycamore Drive. Police found numerous scratches and dents on the car, all four tires slashed and sugar in her gas tank.
CAR BURGLARY: An iPhone and a video camera were stolen Nov. 12 from a car outside the 7-Eleven, 425 Sauk Trail.
PROPERTY DAMAGE: A man was seen using a tire iron to break a basement window of a house Nov. 14 in the 100 block of Wilson Street. The man fled when two girls saw him and yelled at him.
TRESPASSING: Anthony Thomas, 41, 5110 Arquilla Drive, Richton Park, was charged with criminal trespass after entering the home of a former girlfriend Nov. 16 in the first block of Hemlock Street, police said.
