BASEBALL

BASKETBALL
Steger: The Steger Community Center is holding registration for a basketball program for boys and girls in grades one to eight. Information: (708) 709-0288.
South Holland: The men’s basketball team at South Suburban College will host a Holiday Basketball Camp, open to boys and girls ages 7 to 17, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 30 and 31. Fee: $60. Information: John Pigatti, (708) 596-2000, Ext. 2524.
Southland: Mount Carmel High School will host an eighth-grade boys basketball tournament Sunday, Saturday and Dec. 9. The tournament will have public and private school brackets, culminating in an overall champion, second place, third place and a consolation champion. All teams are guaranteed at least two games. DIVING
Flossmoor: Viking Diving’s winter session for beginner, intermediate and advanced divers will consist of 10 one-hour classes held from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays from Jan. 9 to Feb. 11.
