THEFT: Jewelry was stolen between Nov. 17 and 26 from a house in the 5700 block of Kathryn Lane.
BURGLARY: Two food buffet warmers, a diamond watch, diamond earrings, a gold ring and an iPod were taken Nov. 25 from a house in the 21200 block of Sophia Drive.
RETAIL THEFT: Domanique Taylor, 24, 46 N. Elm Lane, Glenwood, was charged with retail theft after stealing 32 items of children’s clothing valued at $236 on Nov. 28 from J.C. Penney, 4451 Promenade Way, police said.
DUI CHARGE: Sharleen Burnett, 36, 461 Lakewood Blvd., Park Forest, was charged with drunken driving, failure to yield, no insurance and driving on a suspended license after a Nov. 30 stop at White Birch and Willow Road, police said.
DOG ATTACK: A 57-year-old Matteson woman told police she was knocked to the ground by her neighbor’s bull mastiff and bitten on the arm while walking her dog Nov. 30 at Allemong Drive and Willow Road. Dennis Royster, 157 Willow Road, the dog’s owner, was charged with allowing a dog to run at large, harboring a vicious dog and failing to buy dog tags, police said.
DUI ARREST: Sanchus Armstrong, 49, 15703 Ashland Ave., Harvey, was charged with drunken driving and no insurance after a stop Dec. 1 at Matteson Avenue and U.S. 30, police said.
PUBLIC INDECENCY: Bryan Atkins, 33, 1684 E. 224th Court, Sauk Village, was charged with public indecency for urinating Dec. 2 in the parking lot of Sharks Fish and Chicken, 194 Towncenter Drive, police said.
BRIBERY: Anthony Mixon, 55, 433 Carrick Road, was charged with bribery, running a stop sign and no insurance after he tried to bribe a police officer who stopped him Dec. 3 on Homeland Road, police said. They said Mixon offered the officer a “couple hundred bucks” to “make this go away” because he was afraid another ticket would lead to his driver’s license being suspended.
BURGLARY: A kitchen counter, copper pipes, an air conditioner and a water meter were removed between Oct. 1 and Nov. 30 from a vacant house in the 200 block of Allegheny Street.
LOOTING: Florence Davis, 40, 229 Somonauk St., Park Forest, was charged with looting Nov. 14 after police discovered her going through cabinets and drawers inside a vacant house where they were investigating a possible arson, police said.
AGGRAVATED ASSAULT: Joshua Bolden, 20, 10336 W. Walden Parkway, Chicago, was charged with aggravated assault after threatening a woman with a gun during a Nov. 28 argument in the 400 block of Tahoe Street, police said.
HOME BURGLARY: Three digital cameras and a laptop computer were stolen Nov. 29 from a house in the 200 block of Washington Street.
HOME BURGLARY: A flat-screen TV was taken Nov. 29 during a burglary of a house in the 200 block of Farragut Street.
DOMESTIC BATTERY: Edward Harley, 35, 22401 Thomas Court, Richton Park, was charged with domestic battery after a Dec. 1 incident at a home in the 300 block of Somonauk Street, police said.
MARIJUANA CHARGE: Aqueela Davis, 23, 23435 Western Ave., Apt. B20, Park Forest, was charged with possession of marijuana and running a red light after a Dec. 2 stop in the 23400 block of Western Avenue, police said.
DUI ARREST: Deon Deyampert, 25, 17701 Dogwood, Hazel Crest, was charged with drunken driving, possession of marijuana, illegal squealing of tires and improper lane use after a stop Dec. 2 at Sauk Trail and Western Avenue, police said.
POT POSSESSION: Carlos Southern, 40, 286 Shabbona Drive, Park Forest, was charged with possession of marijuana after being stopped Dec. 4 in the 400 block of Suwanee Street, police said.
