DRUG CHARGE: Robert Cooper, 32, 3708 Briar Lane, Hazel Crest, was charged with possession of marijuana and driving on a suspended license after a Nov. 27 stop at Treehouse and Vollmer roads, police said.
VANDALISM: Someone broke into a vacant house in the 800 block of Dartmouth Avenue between Nov. 29 and Dec. 5 and broke a toilet and porcelain sink and damaged two appliances and some walls.
BURGLARY: John Reed, 44, 20 E. 117th Place, and James Thompson, 45, 11601 S. Bishop, both of Chicago, were charged with burglary after police caught them attempting to steal used tires Dec. 6 from National Tire & Battery, 20738 Cicero Ave., police said.
THEFT: A boy’s cellphone was stolen Dec. 6 from Huth Middle School, 3718 W. 213th Place.
POT POSSESSION: Dorian Allen, 21, 5951 Woodgate Drive, Matteson, was charged with possession of marijuana and no rear plate light after a Dec. 7 stop at 207th Street and School Avenue, police said.
THEFT: Someone stole $300 cash out of a woman’s purse Dec. 7 when she left it in a shopping cart in the parking lot of Dominick’s, 4233 W. U.S. 30.
WEAPON CHARGE: Trina Cobbs, 42, 454 E. 40th St., Apt. 5, Chicago, was charged with unlawful possession of a stun gun and retail theft after she was caught under-ringing $200 worth of items Dec. 7 while a cashier at Ross Dress for Less, 4816 W. U.S. 30, police said.
HOME BURGLARY: Several electronics items and $600 in coins were taken Dec. 9 during a burglary of a home in the 100 block of White Oaks Road.
DOG KILLED: Laura Meyer, 3705 W. 214th Place, Matteson, was charged with allowing dogs to run at large after a German shepherd and a boxer-mix escaped from her house Dec. 13 and killed a Yorkshire Terrier being walked by its owner in the 3700 block of Old Plank Trail, police said.
MARIJUANA CHARGES: Christopher Middleton, 21, 4344 Mayfair Lane, Country Club Hills, and Lonzo Wilson, 22, 16412 Prince Drive, South Holland, were charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after being questioned by police Dec. 14 in the 800 block of Violet Lane, police said.
CAR BURGLARY: A radio and car charger were stolen Dec. 14 from a car in a garage in the 900 block of Willow Road.
DOMESTIC BATTERY: Travers Marshall, 48, 5346 W. Drake Lane, Matteson, was charged with domestic battery after a Dec. 15 incident at his home, police said.
CAR THEFT: A 1998 Ford Contour was stolen Dec. 15 from the parking lot of Chuck E. Cheese, 106 Towncenter Drive.
DOMESTIC BATTERY: Stephen Jackson, 26, 13968 Grace Ave., Robbins, was charged with domestic battery after an altercation Dec. 15 at a home in the 800 block of Rose Lane, police said.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Casandra Heard, 24, 1630 5th Ave., Sherica McCree, 22, 50 W. Main St., and Latrice Hatten, 21, 1317 Center Ave., all of Chicago Heights, were charged with disorderly conduct after getting into a fight Dec. 16 outside of Bocces, 3909 W. U.S. 30, police said.
POT POSSESSION: Samuel Nichols Jr., 27, 2544 E. 76th St., Chicago, was charged with possession of marijuana after police responded Dec. 17 to an argument in the lobby of the Matteson Motel, 21104 Kildare Ave., police said.
COKE ARREST: Kristie Bartman, 34, 462 Titonka St., Park Forest, was charged with possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia after police searched her house Dec. 4, police said.
THEFT: Someone stole five 30-foot-long pieces of copper pipe from air conditioner units Dec. 8 or 9 at an apartment complex in the 100 block of Lester Road.
CAT KILLED: Starla Akbar, 33, 407 Rutledge St., Park Forest, was charged with owning a fierce dog, allowing a dog to run at large and failure to register a dog after the pit bull killed a cat in the 400 block of Sandburg Street on Dec. 9.
BIKE THEFT: A mountain bike was stolen Dec. 10 from a back yard in the 200 block of Arcadia Street.
HOME BURGLARY: A large amount of never-worn clothes were stolen Dec. 11 from a home in the 100 block of Chestnut Street. The resident told police the clothes had been in a closet since her grandmother’s clothing store closed a decade earlier.
HOME BURGLARY: Several hundred dollars in tools and electronics were reported stolen Dec. 12 from a house in the 200 block of Tampa Street.
TIRES SLASHED: Two tires were slashed Dec. 13 on a car in the first block of Arbor Trail.
MARIJUANA ARREST: Christopher Anderson Jr., 447 W. 16th St., Chicago, Heights, was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, no insurance and driving with only one taillight after a Dec. 13 stop at Western Avenue and Sycamore Drive, police said.
POT POSSESSION: William Kennedy, 33, 449 14th St., Park Forest, was charged with possession of marijuana, improper lane use on a bicycle and riding a bicycle without a headlamp after a Dec. 13 stop at Indianwood Boulevard and Miami Street, police said.
CAR BURGLARY: About $1,200 worth of electronics and jewelry and a pair of eyeglasses were stolen Dec. 14 from a car in the first block of Saginaw Place.
PROPERTY DAMAGE: Travis Usher, 32, 511 Antietam St., Park Forest, was charged with criminal damage to property after a Dec. 15 incident at his home, police said.
CAR DAMAGED: The roof of a car was damaged by a bullet being fired between Dec. 15 and 17 on Dogwood Street.
STOLEN SCRAP: Several hundred dollars in scrap mental was stolen from a construction site between Dec. 15 and 17 in the 500 block of Norwood Square Drive.
WINDOW SHOT OUT: A car window was shattered Dec. 17 on Indianwood Boulevard, possibly by someone shooting BBs at it.
POT POSSESSION: Ramone Moore, 24, 111 Nashua St., Park Forest, was charged with possession of marijuana, no front license plate and no insurance after a Dec. 17 stop at Blackhawk Drive and Nashua Street, police said.
