South Holland: The baseball program at South Suburban College in South Holland, and head coach Steve Ruzich, will host adult-child baseball camps from Feb. 15 to 24 for kids ages 6 to 14. Camps are available in pitching, hitting, advanced hitting, fielding and coaching. Kids will be given expert instruction to build skills while adults will be taught how to use effective teaching methods and provide instruction. Fee: $45 for one adult and one child per camp; $40 per camp if enrolled in more than one. Flossmoor: Viking Diving’s winter session for beginner, intermediate and advanced divers will consist of 10 one-hour classes held from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays through Feb. 11. Southland: The Frankfort Park District is offering classes through Feb. 19 at Homewood-Flossmoor Ice Arena, 777 Kedzie Ave., Homewood. Learn how to balance and skate unassisted. Classes are available for ages 3 to 5 at 5:10 p.m. Mondays, 5 p.m. Tuesdays or 11 a.m. Tuesdays, for ages 6 to 12 at 5:40 p.m. Mondays, 5:45 p.m. Tuesdays or 6:25 p.m. Tuesdays, and for ages 13 and up at 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays.
