Lawton, a 6-foot-5 forward, is averaging approximately 16 points per game. The athletic senior forward is one of the area’s top dunkers. He has yet to decide on a college.
What’s your favorite class in school?
Anything with math. Probably pre-calculus. I love the numbers.
State title game. You’re in it. What team would you most like to beat for the championship? Why?
Rich South. They’re our down-the-street rivals.
You’re stranded on a deserted island. You can have an endless supply of one food. What would it be?
My aunt Gayle’s Thanksgiving stuffing.
What person, dead or alive, would you most like to meet? Why?
Kevin Durant (Oklahoma City Thunder). I admire his work ethic, leadership and determination to win every game.
What’s your go-to move in a game of H-O-R-S-E?
Throw the ball off the wall, catch it and throw it down with a windmill dunk.

If you could have your pick, what celebrity would you choose as your prom date?
If you could be a pro athlete in any sport other than basketball, which one would it be?
Baseball. It was the first sport I ever played and I liked it a lot.
What do you like most about basketball?
The excitement. I feel like the coaches put me in a place to do whatever I can to make the team better.
