THEFT: A Matteson woman told police that someone stole her purse, cellphone and camera during a house party she hosted Jan. 19 in the 6500 block of Blue Sky Lane.
BURGLARY: About $1,000 worth of tools were stolen between Jan. 19 and 21 from a garage in the 3700 block of 216th Street.
PILFERED PHONE: A cellphone was stolen Jan. 25 from a Matteson woman while she was at the Matteson Public Library, 801 School Ave.
POT POSSESSION: Torrey Lewis, 19, 3801 167th Place, Country Club Hills, was charged with possession of marijuana and not wearing a seat belt after a Jan. 25 stop at Willow Road and Sunflower Drive, police said.
HOME BURGLARY: Three laptop computers, a television, jewelry, two leather coats, a purse and other items were stolen Jan. 25 from a home in the 21800 block of Charles Street.
THEFT: Someone stole $210 worth of auto batteries from Sam’s Club, 21430 Cicero Ave., between Jan. 26 and 28.
HOME BURGLARY: A video game system, jewelry, a television, a computer and two purses were stolen during a Jan. 27 burglary of a house in the 4200 block of 216th Street.
HOME BURGLARY: A video game system, games and a laptop computer were stolen Jan. 27 from a home in the 3600 block of U.S. 30.
RETAIL THEFT: Letitia Adams, 22, 3613 Coventry, Hazel Crest, was charged with retail theft after stealing 15 cans of baby formula, two pairs of boots and various clothing items Jan. 28 from Target, 4647 Promenade Way, police said.
GUN CHARGE: Joyce Pittman, 30, 516 W. 15th Place, Chicago Heights, was charged with unlawful use of a weapon, possession of marijuana and illegally passing a school bus after a Jan. 10 stop at Sauk Trail and Windsor Street, police said. They said officers found a handgun and two spent shell casings in her car
DOMESTIC BATTERY: Burberwa Kaijage, 38, 3582 Western Ave., Park Forest, was charged with domestic battery after a Jan. 15 incident at his home, police said.
POT POSSESSION: John Lee, 33, 248 Fir St., Park Forest, was charged with possession of marijuana and driving on a suspended license after a stop Jan. 17 in the 300 block of Osage Street, police said.
HOME BURGLARY: A Park Forest family told police someone broke into their home in the first block of Somonauk Court and stole two televisions between Jan. 17 and 25.
THEFT: Someone stole a refrigerator and microwave Jan. 18 from a vacant house in the 400 block of Main Street.
HOME BURGLARY: Two televisions were stolen Jan. 19 or 20 from a house in the 100 block of Marquette Street.
SCHOOL BURGLARY: Someone broke into Indiana School, 165 Indiana St., on Jan. 20 and damaged the door to the computer lab after attempting to pry it open but ran off without taking anything when police responded to a burglar alarm.
HOME BURGLARY: A television, watch and computer were taken between Jan. 20 and 25 during a burglary in the 300 block of Westgate Drive.
BOGUS BILLS: The owner of Dunagains Irish Pub, 90 S. Orchard Drive, told police he discovered three counterfeit $20 bills in his cash register on Jan. 21. The money had been collected Jan. 19 or 20.
STOLEN PHONE: A 15-year-old Rich East High School basketball player told police someone stole her cellphone from her gym locker on Jan. 24.
HOME BURGLARY: Two televisions, a computer, a video game system, movies and jewelry were stolen Jan. 27 from a house in the 200 block of Mantua Street.
DOMESTIC BATTERY: Jose Oliver, 47, 9 Apple Lane, Park Forest, was charged with domestic battery after a Jan. 28 incident at his home, police said.
