FieldCrest School of Performing Arts wins big

FieldCrest School of Performing Arts, in Park Forest, won 10 awards for dance and acting performances at the Symposium Talent Competition in Oswego.
In addition to the performance awards for 12 students in four performances, students won the Studio Spirit Award. The award recognizes the positive spirit, helpfulness, spirit-raising support, and dance team ability, qualities stressed by FieldCrest.
Other awards from the Symposium Talent Competition included best stage presence, high-point awards, first-place diamond awards, and first-place silver awards.
FieldCrest students compete once a year.
Dance and acting students create a year-end musical production annually. Etiquette and modeling students attend a fashion show at the Tinley Park Convention Center each year.
Established in 1977, FieldCrest is a cultural enrichment and performing arts school composed of 11 highly-trained artists-in-residence. The school offers classes in dance, acting, creative writing, modeling and etiquette.
