The Park Forest Hall of Fame will hold its annual induction ceremony at 3 p.m. Sunday in Freedom Hall, 410 Lakewood Blvd.

Being inducted this year are James and Marlene Gallagher, John Joyce, Alicia Rodman McCray, William M. Tilley and the Park Forest Nurses Club.

The 2013 inductees will join more than 100 members of the Park Forest Hall of Fame, established in 1989. The induction ceremony became an annual event in 1994.

Names of Hall of Fame members are listed on plaques which hang in the Park Forest Village Board meeting room, 350 Victory Drive, and are listed on the society website with brief biographies at www.parkforesthistory.org.

The inductees are selected from nominations made by the public. To be eligible, nominees must have made substantial, beneficial and consistent contributions to the life and well-being of Park Forest over a considerable span of time.

Beginning in 2011, nominations of non-profit organizations were accepted.

The ceremony will be followed by a reception.

Admission to the ceremony and reception is free.
