Park Forest police blotter

PARK FOREST

WALLET STOLEN: A wallet was stolen May 4 from a stroller at Central Park, 420 Lakewood Blvd.

CAR THEFT: A 2012 Dodge Challenger, a rental car, was stolen May 5 from a driveway in the 500 block of Blair Street.

CAR THEFT: A 2006 Pontiac was stolen May 6 or 7 in the 300 block of Winona Street.

SHOT FIRED: Residents reported a gunshot fired May 7 in the rear of a residence in the 100 block of Washington Street, but no one was injured. On May 6, police responded to a disturbance at the same residence involving a large group of people that ended with a man being hit in the head. Terrence Young, 21, 195 Washington St., was charged with disorderly conduct in the May 6 incident, police said.

HOME BURGLARY: Jewelry, two televisions, a video game system and two laptop computers were stolen May 7 during a burglary at a house in the 300 block of Gettysburg Street.

CAR BURGLARIES: Three cars in the 400 block of Monitor Street were broken into May 7, but only loose change was stolen.

BIKE THEFT: An unsecured bicycle was stolen May 8 from a home in the first block of Sauk Trail.

HOME BURGLARY: Two video game systems, a computer, jewelry, a mountain bike, liquor and other items were taken May 10 from a home in the first block of Braeburn Drive.

DRUG ARREST: Jerry Glover, 23, 3552 Western Ave., Park Forest, was charged with illegal possession of prescription drugs, possession of marijuana and no insurance after a May 10 stop at Sauk Trail and Windsor Street, police said.

HOME BURGLARY: A television and CDs were stolen May 12 from a house in the 300 block of Minocqua Street.
