RETAIL THEFT: Joseph Hayes, 24, of Boston, and Leonard Benson, 24, of Evergreen, Colo., were charged with retail theft after stealing a display phone valued at $650 on June 17 from AT&T, 4736 W. U.S. 30, police said.
POT POSSESSION: John Hotchkiss, 18, 6336 Streamwood Lane, and Agada Unimuke, 18, 6307 Patricia Drive, both of Matteson, were charged with possession of marijuana after being questioned by police June 20 in the 6300 block of Streamwood Lane, police said.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Daniel Rivera, 19, 457 Springfield St., Park Forest, was charged with driving on a suspended license, speeding and no insurance after a June 21 stop in the 3900 block of U.S. 30, police said. They said he also was charged with obstructing justice for giving police a phony name.
THEFT: A wallet was stolen June 21 or 22 from the room of a guest at the La Quinta Inn, 5210 Southwick Drive.
WINDOW BROKEN: Someone broke the living room window and set off the burglar alarm June 23 or 24 at a house in the 900 block of University Avenue.
BURGLARY: Someone stole copper piping and caused extensive damage to the drywall in a vacant home in the 3800 block of Western Avenue sometime between June 7 and 21.
PUBLIC INDECENCY: Darren Knox, 23, 623 Andover, Chicago Heights, was charged with public indecency after masturbating June 19 in a woman’s front yard in the 300 block of Indiana Street, police said.
HOME BURGLARY: A television was stolen June 19 or 20 from a house in the 400 block of Lakewood Boulevard.
VANDALISM: A brick was thrown through a car’s rear window June 20 in the 100 block of Dogwood Street.
POT POSSESSION: William Kennedy III, 33, 354 Indianwood Blvd., Park Forest, was charged with possession of marijuana after police stopped him June 20 for walking illegally in the street on Main Street, police said.
HOME BURGLARY: A television, a laptop computer and two watches were stolen June 21 from a house in the 300 block of Winnebago Street.
HOME BURGLARY: A video game system and several bags of change were stolen June 21 from a house in the 200 block of Sangamon Street.
CAR BURGLARY: A wallet was stolen June 21 or 22 from a car in the first block of Indianwood Boulevard.
BURGLARY: A snowblower, electric drill and reciprocating saw were stolen June 22 or 23 from a garage in the 100 block of Nanti Street.
CAR THEFT: A 2006 Dodge Charger was stolen June 22 or 23 from an apartment building’s parking lot in the 100 block of North Arbor Trail.
