Matteson, Park Forest police blotter

MATTESON

THEFT: An iPod was stolen June 27 from a car at Prairie State College, 4821 Southwick Drive.

DUI ARREST: Wilbert Voss, 41, 20850 Homeland Road, Matteson, was charged with drunken driving, driving in the wrong lane, no insurance and running a stop sign after a June 27 stop at Lindenwood Drive and Kostner Avenue, police said.

VAN THEFT: A 2000 Dodge Caravan was stolen July 1 or 2 from a driveway in the 800 block of Central Avenue.

HIT AND RUN: Jimmie Harris, 35, 17255 California Ave., Hazel Crest, was charged with hit and run, following too closely, failure to notify police of an accident and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after running into another car July 7 at Governors Highway and 216th Street, police said.

PARK FOREST

BURGLARY: Tools were stolen between June 29 and July 4 from a garage in the 400 block of Navajo Street.

ROBBERY ARREST: Montae Edwards, 19, 719 Blackhawk Drive, University Park, was charged with robbery after stealing headphones from a 13-year-old July 3 at Shabbona Drive and Talala Street, police said.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Isaac Robinson, 21, 19 W. Rocket Circle, Park Forest, was charged with disorderly conduct after touching his genitals while rubbing against the window of a car in which three teenage girls were sitting July 6 in the 200 block of Gold Street, police said.

CAR THEFT: A 2003 Nissan Maxima was stolen July 7 from a garage in the 400 block of Gettysburg Street.

HOME BURGLARY: Someone used a landscaping brick to shatter a sliding-glass door July 8 at a house in the 300 block of Wayne Street and stole a television.
