Flossmoor: Viking Diving Club’s Fall One session, featuring 10 one-hour classes for beginner, intermediate and advanced divers, will run from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays through Oct. 9. Southland: Unique Bassmasters, Rayjus Outdoors and the Oak Lawn High School Spartan fishing team and its sponsors, will host the Rayjus Outdoors-Oak Lawn Community High School Bass Tournament on the Kankakee/Des Plaines River on Oct. 12. Homewood: The Homewood-Flossmoor Park District will offer Wado-Ki Pre-Karate for ages 4 to 6 and Wado-Ki Karate for ages 6 to adult from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays through Oct. 24 at the Irwin Community Center, 18120 Highland Ave. Fees: $52 per class ($78 nonresidents). Chicago Heights: Marian Catholic High School’s 24th aAnnual Endowment Golf Classic will be held Monday at Olympia Fields Country Club to raise funds for the Endowment Classic Scholarship Fund of Marian Catholic. New this year, tennis players can register and play on Olympia Fields’ Har-Tru clay courts. Singles and doubles players are welcomed and play begins at 2 p.m. Tennis players can then join golfers at the EGC dinner. Fees: $125 for tennis, dinner and snacks and beverages throughout the day.
