The Park Forest Historical Society will present “The Story of a Japanese War-Bride in a GI Town: The Life of Chieko Rosenbery” at 2:30 p.m. Nov. 10 at Park Forest Village Hall, 350 Victory Drive.

Linda Rosenbery Wingrove will speak on Chieko’s life during World War II and postwar Japan and her life in Park Forest. The stories are based on Wingrove’s book about her mother.
