Matteson, Park Forest police blotter

MATTESON

FRAUD: Nia D. Frazier, 21, 209 Allegheny St., Park Forest, and Joe Turner, 20, and Dionte Kennon, 22, both of Chicago, were charged with unlawful use of a credit card Oct. 9 at Best Buy, 4707 Lincoln Mall Drive, police said.

BURGLARY: Eighteen phones were stolen Oct. 9 from Verizon, 4063 W. 211th St.

HOME BURGLARY: Televisions, two iPods, shoes and other items were stolen Oct. 10 from a house in the 3200 block of Heritage Boulevard. Some of the items were later recovered nearby.

HOME BURGLARY: A television was stolen Oct. 10 from a house in the 3200 block of Holden Circle.

RETAIL THEFT: Derrick M. Willis, 53, of Chicago, was charged with retail theft after he stole a tub and water heater Oct. 10 from Home Depot, 20808 Cicero Ave., police said.

THEFT: Copper wire was stolen Oct. 10 from a ComEd substation in the 21900 block of Patterson Court.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Deborah R. Shellie, 46, 4701 Abbey Lane, Matteson, was charged with domestic battery after an Oct. 11 incident at her home, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Devin T. Boswell, 23, 824 Greenbriar Lane, University Park, was charged with driving on a suspended license and having expired registration after an Oct. 11 stop at U.S. 30 and Governors Highway, police said.

BROKEN WINDOW: A paint can was thrown through a window Oct. 11 at a house in the 3200 block of Holden Circle.

NO LICENSE: Dilfredo Santiago, 20, 467 Springfield, Park Forest, was charged with driving without a valid license after an Oct. 11 stop at U.S. 30 and Governors Highway, police said.

BROKEN DOOR: A rock was thrown through a glass door Oct. 12 at Huth Middle SChool, 3718 W. 213th Place.

THEFT: A catalytic converter was stolen Oct. 12 from a vehicle parked at Dominick’s, 4233 W. 211th St.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Jason E. Kent, 37, 5960 Beechwood Road, Matteson, was charged with driving on a suspended license after being stopped Oct. 12 on East U.S. 30, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Chad K. Tracy, 25, of Chicago, was charged with driving on a suspended license and not reducing speed to avoid an accident after an Oct. 13 collision on West U.S. 30, police said.

HOME BURGLARY: Sports collectables, cash, a radio and other items were stolen Oct. 13 from a house in the 6300 block of Patricia Drive.

NO LICENSE: Mildred J. Pruitt, 59, 824 Princeton Ave., Matteson, was charged with driving on an expired license, no insurance and having only one headlight after a stop Oct. 13 in the 5600 block of West U.S. 30, police said.

WARRANT ARREST: Terrance L. Randle, 23, 18114 Soleri, Country Club Hills, was arrested on a Darien warrant Oct. 13 in the 4100 block of St. Lawrence Avenue, police said.

THEFT: Cash was stolen from four vending machines Oct. 14 at Hampton Inn, 209200 Matteson Ave.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Victoria L. Smith, 33, 1825 Canal St., Blue Island, was charged with driving on a suspended license, no insurance and speeding after an Oct. 15 stop at Cicero Avenue and Vollmer Road, police said.

PARK FOREST

VEHICLE BURGLARIES: An iPhone and an MP3 player were stolen Oct. 7 from two unlocked vehicles in the 100 block of Nanti Street.

THEFT: A compressor was stolen Oct. 7 from an air conditioner outside a house in the 400 block of Titonka Street.

VEHICLE BURGLARY: A GPS unit and wallet were stolen Oct. 7 from an unlocked vehicle in the 400 block of Neosho Street.

NO LICENSE: Darnetta C. Davis, 31, 563 Andover St., Chicago Heights, was charged with driving without a valid license, no insurance, obstructing justice and no front license plate after an Oct. 8 stop in the 200 block of Allegheny Street, police said.

MARIJUANA CHARGE: Everett D. Rawls, 33, 22214 Kostner Ave., Richton Park, was charged with possession of marijuana and having expired registration and was arrested on a Sauk Village warrant after a stop Oct. 8 at Sauk Trail and Western Avenue, police said.

POT POSSESSION: Thomas Chauncey, 30, 4130 W. 175th Place, Country Club Hills, was charged with possession of marijuana, running a stoplight and no insurance after an Oct. 8 stop at Western Avenue and Illinois Street, police said.

HOME BURGLARY: A television and computer were stolen Oct. 8 from a house in the 300 block of Herndon Street.

HOME BURGLARY: A stove, refrigerator and copper parts of an air conditioner unit were stolen Oct. 8 from a house in the 300 block of Somonauk Street.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Darryl B. Staples, 43, 207 Gold St., Park Forest, was charged with disorderly conduct after an Oct. 8 incident at his home, police said.

DAMAGED DOOR: A rock was thrown through a glass door Oct. 8 at Stop ‘n Shop, 2599 Western Ave.

HOME BURGLARY: A television was stolen Oct. 10 from a house in the 200 block of Early Street. The TV was later recovered in an adjoining yard.

HOME BURGLARY: A laptop computer, strongbox, liquor, artwork, a watch and other items were stolen Oct. 11 from a house in the first block of Blackhawk Drive, police said.

BATTERY: Kireiselin Settles, 36, 233 Arrowhead St., Park Forest, was charged with battery after an altercation Oct. 11 in the 200 block of Allegheny Street, police said.
