SXU to feature artists with developmental disabilities
St. Xavier University’s Visual Arts Center will host “Visible: Artwork by Adults with Developmental Disabilities” from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday at 10435 S. Spaulding Ave., Chicago.
‘Visible’ is a traveling art exhibit showcasing the works of artists at Austin Special, a facility that assists developmentally disabled adults in Chicago.
Artists include Ralph Bemont, Earl Gallermo, Tim Holliman, Peter Kuczwara, Margarita Leal, Andrew Raczkowski, Margarita Seda, Mark Suntres, Brett Bartz, Steven Ferrel and Ruben Tupayachi.

Park district to offer babysitting workshop
The Oak Forest Park District, 4412 Henry St., will offer a babysitting workshop for ages 11 and older from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. The fee is $40, and registration is required.

Park district to host comedy show
The Oak Lawn Park District will present a night of comedy from WGN broadcasters Ana Belaval, Pat Tomasulo and Mike Toomey from 8 to 10 p.m. Saturday at the Stony Creek Clubhouse, 5850 W. 103rd St., Oak Lawn.
Admission is $20, and reservations are required. The doors open at 7 p.m.
