Oak Forest man dies weeks after being hit by vehicle

An Oak Forest man who was hit by a vehicle weeks ago in Midlothian died Sunday night, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
John Holly, 53, was a pedestrian at 147th Street and Waverly Avenue on Feb. 3 when a vehicle struck and injured him, the medical examiner’s office said.
Holly, of the 15000 block of Tudor Road, was pronounced dead about 9:54 p.m. Sunday at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, the medical examiner’s office.
Midlothian police were not immediately available for comment Monday.
