One can celebrate a day of great beer, music, food and good times from 3-9 p.m. June 23 at Blarney Stone Pub, 15400 S. Cicero Ave., Oak Forest.
That’s when the Summer Solstice Craft Beer & Wine Festival, a tented event, will take place rain or shine.
Tickets are $20 if purchased online in advance or $30 at door and include 10 beer sample tickets, a sample glass and two food sample tickets. Additional beer tickets can be purchased for $1 each.
The fest will feature 30 breweries and 60-plus brews including: Abita, Argus, Sierra Nevada, Crispin, Southern Tier, Boulder Brew, Firestone Walker, Samuel Adams, Dark Horse, Left Hand, Tyranena, Metropolitan, Two Brothers, Lagunitas, Stone Levitation, Smuttynose, Vander Mill, Allagash, Racer 5, Anderson Valley, Goose Island, Bells, Bridgeport, Three Floyds, Founders, Capital, Dogfish, 5 Rabbit, Revolution, Great Lakes and New Holland.
“Enjoy your old favorites and try new ones,” officials said.
Home brewers are welcome at the event and should contact Kimkeane94@comcast.net for more information on how to participate.
“Bring your brew to sample and compete for prizes and bragging rights,” officials said.
Live music will be provided by the Bobby Dunne Band.
