Members of the Legacy Dance Ensemble recently attended the “Power of Dance” competition in Aurora.

The director of the competition allowed each participating studio to designate a charity to which to donate the entry fees. Legacy chose P.A.W.S. of Tinley Park and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

After the competition, members of the Legacy Dance Ensemble presented a check for $600 to members of P.A.W.S. The dancers also met Thelma, a beagle who is looking for a loving home, during their visit to the shelter.

Legacy Dance Ensemble is a youth competition team for students ages 4 to 17 offered by Legacy Dance Studio in Oak Forest.
