Legacy dancers in ‘Nutcracker’

Dancers ages 9 to 11 recently auditioned for roles in the Joffrey Ballet’s children’s cast for the 25th anniversary production of “The Nutcracker.”
More than 100 roles were filled, including mice, soldiers, angels and dolls.
Five dancers from Legacy Dance Studio in Oak Forest were selected to perform in the Christmas classic. They include Nicole Boudos, Abigail Dudich and Kevin Ivins, all of Oak Forest; Kayla Piunti, of Midlothian, and Ashanti Nobles, of Chicago.
