Alsip man dies in motorcycle crash

An Alsip man, less than two days away from his 35th birthday, died from injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident Saturday in Oak Forest.

Matteo Manueli, 34, was involved in a motorcycle accident at 14700 Oak Park Ave. in Oak Forest, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.

Manueli, of the 12600 block of South Alpine Drive, was taken to Palos Community Hospital in Palos Heights, where he was pronounced dead at 9:20 p.m.

Manueli would have been 35 years old on Nov. 12, according to the medical examiner’s office.

Oak Forest police are investigating but had no details immediately available Sunday afternoon.
