Here is a look at top events you won’t want to miss.
Suggestions include the BACinema screening of “Joyeux Noel” (“Merry Christmas”) at the Beverly Arts Center in Chicago and the chance to submit Southland homes decorated for the holidays.
This weekly film series continues at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 19 with “Joyeux Noel” (“Merry Christmas”) at the Beverly Arts Center, 2407 W. 111th St., Chicago.
Information: (773) 445-3838, beverlyartcenter.org.
Do you go all out decorating for the holidays? Have you seen a dynamic display in the Southland?
Then send the address and information on what’s featured to email@example.com, with “Holiday Homes” in the subject line.
If you have photos of the display, send those in .jpg format.
Then watch for the Dec. 21 Weekend magazine for a list of decorated homes.
Friday’s Weekend features Illinois Philharmonic Orchestra’s BMO Harris Bank Holiday Concerts in Frankfort and a movie review of “Playing for Keeps.”
Some of these articles are already available in SouthtownStar.com’s Entertainment section.
Also for Dec. 13, 2012
The Entertainment section also includes a review of “The Hobbit,” which is screening early at several theaters.
