At least one hurt in car-pedestrian accident in Crestwood

At least one person was taken to a hospital Monday afternoon after a vehicle struck a pedestrian at the intersection of Cicero Avenue and Illinois 83 in Crestwood, a fire official said.
The accident occurred in the left turn lane from southbound Cicero to eastbound 83, according to a witness.
Crestwood police and fire officials had no further information Monday evening.
